These Listing Rules apply to all listings placed on aerOwner.
1. Ownership and authority
You may only publish a listing if:
- you are the official owner of the aircraft, share or item listed; or
- you have clear authority from the official owner to publish the listing.
We may ask for proof of ownership or authority at any time.
2. Accuracy
All listings must be honest, accurate and not misleading.
You must not misrepresent:
- ownership;
- condition;
- maintenance status;
- permit or airworthiness status;
- registration details;
- specifications;
- installed equipment;
- hours;
- history;
- accident record;
- legal transferability;
- share rights or co-ownership terms;
- service credentials or business approvals.
3. Required standard for aircraft-related listings
Where relevant, listings should clearly state accurate information regarding:
- make and model;
- year of manufacture if known;
- registration or identification where appropriate;
- airframe hours;
- engine hours;
- propeller hours;
- maintenance status;
- permit / airworthiness status if stated;
- avionics and key equipment;
- known defects or important limitations;
- asking price;
- location.
4. Share listings
Where a listing relates to an aircraft share, you must clearly describe:
- the nature of the share;
- what the buyer is acquiring;
- whether there are monthly costs, capital contributions or hourly charges;
- any management structure;
- any restrictions on use;
- home base of the aircraft;
- whether the share transfer is subject to approval by existing members.
5. Clubs, schools and services
Where a listing relates to a club, school or aviation service, you must ensure that all qualifications, approvals, offerings and pricing information are truthful and current.
6. Documents and images
You must only upload documents and images you are entitled to use.
Images must relate to the item or service being advertised and must not be materially misleading.
7. Prohibited listings
We may remove listings that:
- appear fraudulent;
- use misleading photographs or descriptions;
- contain false ownership claims;
- conceal material facts;
- duplicate another listing;
- promote unlawful or dangerous activity;
- damage the integrity of the platform.
8. Verification and moderation
We are entitled, but not obliged, to review, moderate, request evidence for, edit, suspend or remove any listing.
Publication of a listing does not mean that aerOwner has verified or approved it.
9. Paid visibility services
Featured or boosted placement only affects visibility on the platform. It does not guarantee enquiries, leads, offers, sale completion or any minimum result.
